Mr. Matt Farris is a Nashville recording artist from Lake Havasu City who saw the smoke and knew it was going to be bad news. Knowing that people from this area helped start his career, he decided to do something quick to give back to those that helped him. Matt simply got on the phone and started calling his friends and contacts in Lake Havasu and Nashville along with his publicity team to come up with some ideas. Their plan - put together a benefit concert to raise funds to help those impacted by the fire.

The AVI Resort agreed to host the event and on September 18, 2015, Matt was joined by his friends Uncle Si Robertson from Duck Dynasty and his daughter-in-law Marsha Robertson, DJ Boom Bandit from Lake Havasu, James Robert Webb from Nashville and a local country/rock band called Littletown. The Willow Fire Relief Concert was born and to top if off, the entire group went "beyond the call" by volunteering all their time and talents for this amazing event.

The latest figures top $10,000.00. Final numbers will be coming soon.

On September 9, 2015, Freeman Vice President Mark Brantley and company employees presented Mike Conner a check for $1,683.40 to be earmarked for the victims of the Willow Fire. Funds were raised by the employees through an in-house fund raising event.
